Inventory Counts

Use the Inventory Counts module for inventory counts performed outside of a scheduled event.

Inventory Counts Permissions

The Inventory Count module has the following permissions:

Inventory Counts List

¶¶ÒõCloud Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Venues Inventory → Inventory Counts

From the Inventory Counts List:

  • View a list of all existing inventory counts;

  • Search and sort inventory counts by any column;

  • Arrange columns by dragging and dropping the column.

  • Select an inventory count directly to edit.

The Inventory Counts List displays:

Create New Inventory Count

¶¶ÒõCloud Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Venues Inventory → Inventory Counts

To create a new inventory count:

  1. Navigate to Venues Inventory.

  2. From the menu on the left, select Inventory Counts.

  3. From the upper-right of the Inventory Counts List, select New Inventory Count.

  4. In the Name field, type the inventory count Name.

    • Start Date/Start Time and Status auto populate.

  5. In the Site Counts area, on the upper-right, select Add Site(s).

  6. To the far right of a listed site, select the 3-dot menu.

  7. From the 3-dot menu, select Edit.

  8. Use the plus (+) or minus (-) options to adjust the inventory count.

  9. From the upper right of Inventory Count, select Save.

  10. From the upper right of Inventory Count, select Submit.

Locate an Item in the Inventory Count

Cloud Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Venues Inventory → Inventory Counts

To locate an item in the inventory count:

  1. From Inventory Count List, select the name of the inventory count.

  2. From General, scroll down to Site Counts and select the site name.

  3. From the site page, use the scanning tool connected to the computer to scan the UPC code to locate the item in the inventory count. If the UPC code is configured, the row is located and highlighted.

    Note

    UPC codes must be configured in ¶¶ÒõData Management to use this feature. See Configure Inventory Item UPC Code for more information.

Add Audit Trail View

¶¶ÒõCloud Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Venues Inventory → Inventory Counts

To add the Audit Trail view:

  1. Navigate to Venues Inventory.

  2. From the menu on the left, select Inventory Counts.

  3. From Inventory Counts List, select the Inventory Count list name.

  4. From the Inventory Count list, select Site Counts, which opens the Inventory Count view for the sites.

  5. From the upper-right of the Inventory Count area, select Audit Trail, which opens the view to the item's audit trail.

    Note

    Access to the Audit Trail button requires user permissions and is disabled by default.
