Modifier Collections
To create a modifier collection:
From the ¶¶ÒõCloud Portal homepage, select Data Management.
From the Ordering Settings menu, select Modifiers.
From the Modifiers menu, select Modifier Collections.
From the Modifier Collection homepage, select New Modifier Collection.
The following introduces the pages of the Modifier CollectionÌý±ð»å¾±³Ù´Ç°ù.
Page
Description
Define general settings for a modifier collection including its name and active status.
Add individual modifiers to the collection.
Add modifier groups to the collection.
Add modifier builds to the collection.
Create and add modifier group categories for the collection.
When a product is added to an order at the POS, the modifier group categories are displayed in the footer of the screen as selectable tabs.
The order taker selects a category tab to access the associated modifier groups. Any unsorted modifier groups are accessed from the Other category.
General

From the General page of the Modifier Collection editor, define general settings for a modifier collection:
In the Name field, type a name for the modifier collection.
Toggle Active to Active if the modifier collection is available for use at the site.
Multi-site users: From the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site.
Modifiers

From the Modifiers page of the Modifier Collections editor, add individual modifiers to a collection:
From the Add Modifiers window, select the modifiers.
From the lower-right, select Add [#] Modifiers.
From the Modifiers section of the Modifiers page, select and drag the square to the left of the listed modifiers to sort them in the desired sequence.
Groups

From the Groups page of the Modifier Collections editor, add modifier groups to a collection:
From the Add Modifier Group window, select the modifier groups to add to the collection.
From the lower-right, select Add # Modifier Groups.
From the Modifier Groups section, select and drag the control to the left of the listed modifier groups to sort them in the desired sequence.
Builds

From the Builds page of the Modifier Collections editor, add new and/or existing builds to a collection.
Select Existing Build
To add an existing build to a modifier collection:
From the upper-right of the Builds section, select Select Existing Build.
From the Select Existing Builds window, select the builds.
The following is provided for each listed build:
The build type:
Augment - Modifiers are added to any modifiers already applied to the order item.
Replacement - Modifiers replace any modifiers already applied to the order item.
The modifiers included in the build.
From the lower-right, select Add # Builds.
From the Builds section, select and drag the control to the left of the listed builds to sort them in the desired sequence.
Add New Build
From the dropdown in the upper-right of the Builds section, select Add New Build.
General
From the General section of the General page of the Modifier Builds editor, define the following settings:
Setting | Description |

Name | Type a name for the modifier build. |
External ID | Type an external identifier for the modifier build. External identifiers are product references used by external third-party services. |
Build Type | From the dropdown, select the desired behavior for a quick build:

Active | Toggle to Active if the modifier build is available at the site.

From the Build Tags section of the General page, define the following:
Setting | Description |

Tags | From the dropdown, select the tags to assign to the modifier build (if applicable). To add a new tag, type the tag in the provided field, and then select Add New. Tags can be used to associate records for reporting purposes. |
Modifiers
From the Modifiers page of the Modifier Builds editor, add modifiers to a modifier build:
From the Modifiers section, select Add Modifiers.
From the Add Modifiers window, select the modifiers.
From the lower-right, select Add [#] Modifiers.
Pricing
From the Pricing page of the Modifier Builds editor, define settings related to how the modifiers are priced:
Setting | Description |

Pricing Method | From the dropdown, select the desired pricing method. The selected method determines if the price of the modifier build is equal to the total price of the modifiers included in the build.

When Sum Modifier Prices is selected from the Pricing Method dropdown, the following additional settings are displayed:

Subtract Price on Modifier Replacement | This setting determines if the price of a modifier build is affected when a modifier included in the build is replaced with a variant.

Roll Up Price | From the dropdown, select the applicable option. The selected option determines how the modifier price is rolled up into a parent product price.

Tax Inclusive | Toggle Tax Inclusive to Yes if all applicable taxes are included in the price. When enabled, tax is not applied to the price when the modifier build is added to an order. Multi-site users: To the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site. |
Tax Group | From the dropdown, select the tax group to assign to the modifier build. The selected tax group determines the tax rate to apply to the modifier price. |
Kitchen
From the Kitchen page of the Modifier Builds editor, define kitchen settings for a modifier build.
In the Preparation Instructions field, type the preparation instructions for the modifier build for the kitchen staff. Format the text as needed.
Select the image icon to upload an image. Valid image files: PNG, JPEG, and (single frame) GIF.
The preparation instructions are accessible from the Kitchen and the Ordering application.
Modifier Collections
From the Modifier Collections page of the Modifier Builds editor, view the list of the modifier collections that include the modifier build.
A "modifier collection" is a collection of the base modifiers that are available for an item at the POS.
Categories

From the Categories page of the Modifier Collection editor, add modifier group categories to a collection:
Toggle EnabledÌý³Ù´ÇÌýYes to enable modifier group categories.
From the Modifier Categories section, select Add Category.
In the Name field of the Create Modifier Category window, type a name for the modifier category.
From the Included Modifier Groups section, select the modifier groups to add to the category.
This list is populated with modifier groups from the Groups page of this modifier collection.
From the lower-right, select Done.
Repeat steps 2-5 to add additional modifier categories, as needed.
From the Modifiers Categories section, select and drag the control to the left of the listed modifier categories to sort them in the desired sequence.
