Sales Report Updates

This release resolves a reported incident with Sales reports in production not being updated with current data.

The issue resulted from a customer transaction that included a large number of gift cards that exceeded the maximum size defined for column card_last_4_number_list in Redshift database table xenial_pos_order_header.

To resolve the issue, the maximum size of column card_last_4_number_list has been updated. Once the ETL processes were restarted, the anomalous transaction (and subsequent transactions) processed successfully and report data is now updated as expected.

The Dashboard is updated as follows:

  • Added day_part column to the sdr_sun table.

  • A /dashboard request is sent every fifteen (15) minutes -OR- when the user selects Update.

  • When returning to the Dashboard after viewing a report, the Dashboard loads without having to send another /dashboard request.

  • Business date and calendar requests are sent every time the site list is changed.

  • Dashboard requests are sent when the user returns from another Cloud component.

  • A spinner is displayed while the Dashboard is loading.

  • The Export to PDF completes successfully. The сhart titles are displayed on a single line. The date interval reflects the UI. The company name is included.

The Site Selector is updated as follows:

  • All sites assigned to user are selected by default.

  • When the user selects all sites, the static phrase "All Sites" is displayed with the number of sites.

  • "All Sites" is now formatted to make it clear it is a selectable link.

  • The selected sites are persisted when returning to the Dashboard from a report.

  • Business date and calendar requests are sent every time the site list is changed.

The Date Selector is updated as follows:

  • When navigating to another report, the selected date period +1 day is shown in the Custom tab.

  • The period distribution is six (6) months in each column.

  • The current period is selected for Payroll reports by default. The latest Business Date is selected.

  • The selected period is displayed when a period is selected. When the site list is changed, the period + one (1) day is displayed.

  • Standardized the date format and calendar view.

Charts are updated as follows:

  • The charts are now sequenced as expected.

  • Historical data is the average (AVG) of the previous five (5) weeks.

  • Corrected the Net Sales By Day Part values (both historical and current).

  • "Null" destinations are not displayed; Sales are distributed between destinations.

  • "Null" day parts are not displayed; Sales are distributed between day parts.

  • Both current and historical data are displayed when one (1) date is selected.

  • Corrected Net Sales, Net Sales/Guests, Ideal Labor, Actual Labor, and Labor Cost by Hour calculations.

  • Both current and historical data is displayed for order sources.

  • Order and Guest tabs now only display whole integers.

  • Corrected Order Count by Destination value.

  • Scales on Order/ Guest Count tabs have maximum values.

The Dashboard header is updated as follows:

  • Order Count and Guest Count values reflect the respective quantities.

  • Configured decimal precision is now respected. Values are displayed in accordance with the Data Management configuration.

  • A popup now displays the full value when the user hovers over a rounded value.

  • Corrected Net Sales, Orders, and Guests value calculations.

  • The background of the active header changes to indicate it is active.

  • All reporting side translations are now available.
