Use the Menu Category editor to add and manage the Menu Category components that are used to create a menu.
A Menu Category is a collection of similar Menu Item Groups -OR- a collection of other Menu Categories.
Menu Categories are displayed across the top of the menu. The sequence in which the Menu Categories are displayed on the Ordering application is based on their input/ID.
Create Menu Category

To create a Menu Category:
From the Menu Category List homepage, select New Menu Category.
From the menu pane on the left, select a page and define the respective settings.
The following introduces the pages of the Menu Category editor.
Page
Description
Define general settings including the category name and its active status.
Select the images to display for this Menu Category.
Determine how the products will be displayed in the Menu Category when used in Suite Catering.

From the General page of the Menu Category editor, define the following:
In the Name field, type a name for the Menu Category.
Toggle Active to Active if the Menu Category is available for use at the site.
Multi-site users: To the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site.
Menu Groups
To add Menu Groups to a Menu Category:
From the General page, locate the Menu Groups section.
From the upper-right of the Menu Groups section, select Add Menu Group.
From the Add Menu Groups window, select the menu groups to add to the menu category.
From the lower-right of the Add Menu Groups window, select Add [#] Menu Groups.
From the Menu Groups section, use the control to the left of each listed Menu Group to sort the groups in the desired sequence.
Menu Categories
To add existing Menu Categories to a Menu Category:
From the General page, locate the Menu Categories section.
From the upper-right of the Menu Categories section, select Add Menu Categories.
From the Add Menu Categories window, select the menu categories to add to the menu category.
From the lower-right of the Add Menu Categories window, select Add [#] Menu Categories.
From the Menu Categories section, use the control to the left of each listed Menu Category to sort the categories in the desired sequence.

From the Appearance page of the Menu CategoryÌý±ð»å¾±³Ù´Ç°ù:
Select the images to display for this Menu Category.
Define the Menu Category descriptions.
To select the images for this Menu Category:
From the Menu Category Images section, select the applicable Image Set.
From the action bar located above the Image Set list, select Edit.
From the Edit Image window, define the following:

Type a name or description of the image.
Image Source
Select the source of the image:
URL - Specify the network or Internet URL for the image. In the Address field, type the URL for the image file.
Upload Image - Upload an image to the cloud. Select Choose File to locate and select the image file.
The image is displayed in the Preview section. Select the image to zoom in.
From the lower-right of the Edit window, select Done.
Nota
All Image Sets with a Usage type of Menu Category are listed in this section. To add an Image Set to the list, use the Image Sets editor.

From the Menu Category Description section, define the following:

The Suite Catering page is only available if the company has an active subscription to Suite Catering.
From the Suite Catering page of the Menu Category editor, define menu category settings related to Suite Catering.
From the Menu Category Display Options section of the Suite Catering page, define the following:
