Audio Settings

¶¶ÒõCloud Portal → 4-Dot Menu → Data Management → Kitchen Settings → Kitchen Screen Settings → Audio Settings

From the Audio page of the Kitchen Screen Settings editor, define audio settings for a kitchen screen:

Important

The Overdue/Warning for Elapsed Timer settings may not be supported in early versions of ¶¶ÒõData Management.

  1. Toggle Allow Sound to Yes to enable sound functionality.

  2. From the File Method dropdown, select the preferred file method for sourcing the audio files:

    • Legacy File Path (Windows Only) - Define network filepaths for each audio file.

    • Cloud Managed - Select audio files that are managed and stored in the cloud.

  3. Specify the audio file to play for each listed event:

    Event

    Description

    Bump

    Order is bumped.

    Hold Timer Warning

    Warning After (Seconds) setting value is expired.

    This hold timer setting is defined in the Timing for Hold Timer section of the Cells page.

    The Hold Timer specifies the amount of time an order has been sitting in the ‘Hold’ area awaiting customer arrival. The Hold Timer is triggered on a designated screen when items from a corresponding order are bumped from its related upstream screens.

    Less Orders

    Order is removed by any method other than bumping (i.e. autobump, upstream bumping).

    New Order

    New order is added.

    Open

    Kitchen screen is opened or refreshed.

    Order/Item is Modified

    The assigned audio file alerts the staff when:

    • Order state is changed to Voided, Suspended, or Deleted.

    • Order destination is changed.

    • New item is added to order.

    • Item is deleted from order.

    • Item quantity is changed.

    • Item is duplicated.

    • Comment on order is added, edited or deleted.

    • Comment on item is added, edited or removed.

    Overdue for Elapsed Timer

    Overdue After in Seconds value is expired.

    This timer setting is defined in the Timing section of the CellsÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.

    Overdue Hold Timer

    Overdue After (Seconds) setting value is expired.

    This hold timer setting is defined in the Timing for Hold Timer section of the Cells page.

    Warning for Elapsed Timer

    Warning After in Seconds value is expired.

    This timer setting is defined in the Timing section of the CellsÌý±è²¹²µ±ð.
