Custom Payment Device (Bluetooth)

Note

To configure the schema for a custom payment device, see Create Custom Peripheral Schema.

To define settings for a custom payment device with a Bluetooth connection:

  1. From the upper-right of the Peripherals area, select New Peripheral.

  2. From the聽Peripheral Type聽dropdown, select聽Payment.

  3. From the聽Peripheral Schema聽dropdown, select聽Custom Payment.

  4. From the聽Connection Type聽dropdown, select聽Bluetooth.

  5. Select Continue.

  6. Locate the Peripheral Type section.

    • Toggle Active to Active if the device is available for use at the site.

    • Multi-site users: To the right of the field, select the globe icon to define values for each site.

  7. Locate the Peripheral Configuration section.

    • In the Peripheral Name field, type a name for the device.

    • In the Adapter URL field, type the URL that links to the custom adapter.

    • In the Options field, type the configuration payment adapter in JSON format.
