Gift Provider Profiles

Use the Gift Provider Profiles editor to manager profile details for each gift card service provider including the valid account number BIN ranges.
To add a gift card provide profile:
From the Provider Profile List homepage, select Add Profile.
From the Provider dropdown on the Choose Provider popup, select the gift card service provider.
From the Choose Provider popup, select Continue.
From the menu pane on the left, select a page and define the respective settings.

General
From the General section, define settings specific to the selected provider:
From the PIN Prompt section, identify the transaction types and entry methods that prompt the user for the gift card PIN
Define BIN ranges for the gift card service provider.
A bank identification number (BIN) is the first 4-6 numbers of a credit card account number. The BIN identifies the bank that issued the card.
The BIN ranges are used to determine the validity of a credit card and to honor specific attributes.

Custom Gift Provider Settings

Setting | Description |

Profile Name | Type a name to identify the service provider profile. |
URL | Type the backend URL for the service provider. This URL is used to validate a BIN range. |
Active | Toggle Active if the service provider is available for use at the site. |
Custom Fields | The Custom Fields section contains any custom fields that exist for the service. The custom fields vary by provider. Please contact the administrator who added the custom service with any questions. |

Division Code | Type the merchant's type sub-element, which specifies the client-assigned division of the merchant location that submits the gift card transaction. |
Store Code | Type the merchant store code of the service provider. The store code must be unique for each site in the company. |
Active | Toggle Active if the service provider is available for use at the site. |
ValueLink Settings

PIN Prompt
From the PIN Prompt section of the Gift Provider Profiles editor, define the following:
Setting | Description |

Transaction Type | The POS user is prompted to enter the Gift Card PIN for the selected transaction types. |
Entry Method | The POS user is prompted to enter the Gift Card PIN for the selected Gift Card entry methods. |
BIN Ranges
From the BIN Ranges page of the Gift Provider Profiles editor, define BIN ranges for the gift card service provider:
From the lower-left of the BIN Ranges section, select +Add BIN Range.
Type the following values in the provided fields. Press Tab on the keyboard to advance to the next field.
Field
Description
Range Start
The smallest number in the BIN range.
The first BIN range must start with 0 (zero).
Range End
The largest number in the BIN range.
Length
The number of digits in a valid account number.
PIN
Toggle Yes/No to indicate if the BIN range requires a PIN.
Add as many BIN ranges as needed.
Select and drag the control to the left of the listed BIN ranges to sort them from highest to lowest priority.
