The Recipe module provides the ability to create recipes, link products to recipes, and identify the chargeable item, which is the inventory item that is counted during stand worksheet operations.
Recipes use ingredients. For information about ingredients, see Ingredients.
Recipe Permissions

The Recipe module has the following permissions:

Recipe List

From the Recipe List:
View a list of all existing recipes;
Search and/or sort recipes;
Arrange columns by dragging and dropping the column.
To edit a recipe, select the recipe directly or select the checkbox to the left of the recipe to use the Actions dropdown.
To remove the recipe(s), select the checkbox to the left of the recipe(s) to use the Actions dropdown.
The Recipe List displays:

Create New Recipe

Recipes are listed in the General area of Recipe module.
To create a new recipe:
From the upper-right of the Recipe List, select New Recipe.
In the Name field, type the recipe name.
Requires a unique name of 50 characters or less.
In the ID field, type the assigned ID.
In the Description field, type a recipe description.
In the Recipe Tag area, select the Tags field to select the tags associated with the recipe. Add multiple tags by selecting the field again.
From the upper-right of the Recipe area, select Save.
Ingredients

The Ingredients area of the Recipe module provides the ability to add ingredients to recipes and even add a recipe as an ingredient.
Ingredient List

From the Ingredients List:
View a list of ingredients for the selected recipe;
Search and/or sort ingredients;
Arrange columns by dragging and dropping the column.
To remove an ingredient, select the checkbox to the left of the ingredient and then select Remove.
The Ingredient List displays:

Add Ingredients to Recipe

This module pulls data from Inventory Item.
To add ingredients to a recipe:
From the Recipe List, select a recipe.
From the menu on the left, select Ingredients.
From the upper-right of the Ingredients area, select Add Ingredients.
From the Add Ingredients form, select the checkbox to the left of the ingredient(s).
From the Measure dropdown, select the applicable measure for the ingredient(s).
From the lower-right of the Add Ingredient form, select Add Ingredient(s).
If necessary, in the Quantity field, adjust the quantity.
If necessary, in the Yield field, type the yield percentage.
From the upper-right of the Recipe Form area, select Save.
Add a Recipe as an Ingredient

This module pulls data from Inventory Item.
To add a recipe as an ingredient to a recipe:
From the Recipe List, select a recipe.
From the menu on the left, select Ingredients.
From the upper-right of the Ingredients area, to the right of Add Ingredient, select the arrow.
From the Add Ingredient dropdown, select Add Recipes.
In the Add Recipes form, select the checkbox to the left of the recipe(s).
From the lower-right of the Add Recipes form, select Add Item(s).
If necessary, in the Quantity field, adjust the quantity.
If necessary, in the Yield field, type the yield percentage.
From the upper-right of the Recipe Form area, select Save.

If creating a new recipe, proceed directly to Step 2.
From the Recipe List, select the recipe.
From the menu on the left, select Linked Product.
From the upper-right of the Linked Product area, select Add Linked Product.
From the Add Linked Product menu, select the checkbox to the left of the product(s).
From the lower-right of the Add Linked Product menu, select Add.
From the upper-right of the Linked Product module, select Save.
Chargeable

The chargeable item in a recipe is the inventory item counted during stand worksheet operations.
To assign a chargeable item to a recipe:
From the Recipe List, select the recipe.
From the menu on the left, select Chargeable.
From the Chargeable dropdown, select the item.
From the upper-right of the module, select Save
